The MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit at the University of Glasgow is looking for a highly motivated quantitative researcher to join the “Relationships and Health” research programme to work on a CSO-funded project exploring drug-related deaths in Scotland. This research post is funded for 2 years.

The post holder will mainly work on symptom networks in longitudinal health service data and will be part of a larger team working on a range of social network and health datasets and interventions. The successful applicant will:

- Have strong quantitative skills, with knowledge/experience of network analysis methods
- Analyse linked population-level data relating to drug-related deaths in Scotland
- Work in an interdisciplinary project team
- Support a systems thinking approach to develop interventions to prevent drug related deaths
