Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate funded as part of the Neuroscience in Psychiatry Network (NSPN). The post will be based at the Behavioural & Clinical Neuroscience Institute (BCNI) at the University of Cambridge. The post-holder will be supervised by Dr Petra Vertes and will work closely with Professor Ed Bullmore, Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Chief Investigator of NSPN.

The purpose of this role is to analyse a large sample of structural MRI, diffusion tensor imaging and resting-state fMRI data collected on healthy adolescents and young adults. The objective will be to use and develop state-of-the-art image analysis methods to characterise longitudinal developmental changes in brain structure and function in healthy adolescence. There will be a special focus on measuring and modelling the complex network architecture of the human brain and understanding how normal maturational processes affect brain network organization and relate to genetics, behaviour and cognitive function.

The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
