Duration:  2 years

Start Date:  January 2022 (flexible)

Salary:  $50k/annum + benefits

The postdoc will work with Drs. Emma Towlson and Signe Bray on modeling brain networks in the context of mental illness risk. The project will involve working with neuroimaging data to build whole-brain simulations and examine network characteristics. Depending on interest, the postdoc may play a role in study design and data collection, though the primary focus is modeling and data analysis. This is a 2-year position with the possibility of extension.

Applicants must be nearing completion of a PhD or have completed a PhD in the last three years and should have interest in computational approaches to brain and mental health and have a background in network neuroscience, psychology, neurosciences, physics, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with neuroimaging and strong data analytic skills are required. It is highly desirable that applicants have experience conducting research in an interdisciplinary environment. We will provide training for the successful applicant in areas outside of their home discipline that are relevant to the project.
