This year’s Annual Conference of the International Network of Analytical Sociologists (INAS) is co-organized by Delia Baldassarri (New York University) and Filiz Garip (Princeton University). The conference will be hosted by the Department of Sociology at Princeton University on June 8-9, 2023. Duncan Watts (University of Pennsylvania) will deliver the keynote address.
Research in the analytical sociology tradition uses different modes of inquiry to identify the micro-level mechanisms that underlie macro-level phenomena. We welcome submissions from any substantive area of sociology using any method (e.g., quantitative, qualitative, experimental, simulation-based) and especially encourage applications that use data or methods in new ways to push theory (and vice versa).
Please submit an abstract (200 words or less) at this link by February 26, 2023. (Extended abstracts or full papers can be attached but are not required.) We will notify the authors of the decisions by mid-March. Please send any questions to inas2023@princeton.edu.
