The Complex Systems Society (https://cssociety.org/) announces the eighth edition of the CSS Scientific Awards.
This year a new award is introduced: the CSS Emerging Researcher Award, which recognizes promising researchers in Complex Systems within 3 years of PhD completion.
Moreover the two other categories remain: the Senior Scientific Award will recognize outstanding contributions of Complex Systems scholars at whatever stage of their careers, whereas the Junior Scientific Award is aimed at recognizing excellent scientific record of young researchers (within 10 years of PhD completion).

Please note that the possibility of self-nomination for the Emerging Researcher and Junior awards has been introduced. Moreover, this year a simplified procedure has been put in place: applications should be submitted through an online form and letters of support are only required in case of self-nominations for the Emerging Researcher and Junior awards. For the Senior award no letter of support is required beyond the statement of the nominator.
