We are pleased to announce the Aalto Complex Networks Factory, combining 3 days of summer school with 2 days reserved for a workshop and presentations. The Factory will take place in Porvoo, near Helsinki, between 4th and 8th June, 2012, in the Sannäs countryside manor (http://www.sannaskartano.fi/index_eng.html).
The Factory is targeted at graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, who already have some experience in network science. The first three days of the Factory are devoted to a summer school, with Esteban Moro, Alain Barrat, Janos Kertész, Vito Latora as lecturers. The workshop's speakers are Vincent Blondel, Claudio Castellano, Renaud Lambiotte, Fredrik Liljeros, Josè F. Mendes, Martin Rosvall, Mariangeles Serrano. There are some slots reserved for presentations by the school participants. Accommodation and meals at the Sannäs manor will be provided. There will be a bus transportation from Helsinki's airport on Monday morning, and for transportation back on Saturday morning.
There is space for up to 25 participants. Travel and accommodation will be funded through the Nordic Network of Network Scientists for the Nordic participants, and through the Aalto Science Institute for the rest.
